I was scribbling the bottom right turtle things and then had some fun playing with different proportions and ages for this breed of creature.

A bit of a concept of a character my friend Joe came up with. You might see more of this guy if plans turn out.

Another Friend

This time it's my friend Holly. Thankfully she wasn't smiling with an open mouth in the ref pic I choose because I have been having trouble with drawing open mouth smiles. They are hard to get to look normal.

More Friend Sketches

I felt like doing some more portrait sketches so I found more pics of some friends, in this case Meg and Sarah. I think I'm getting a little better than before. Still a long ways to go though.

Come and Get Some

I found a picture of my friend Shane holding a spear and it looked like fun to draw and so it was. I had to make up the arm and hand on screen left cause it wasn't in the shot. I was okay with how this turned out until I looked at the ref image again and realized how many mistakes I made. Oh well... guess that's how you learn.
