I was scribbling the bottom right turtle things and then had some fun playing with different proportions and ages for this breed of creature. 
A bit of a concept of a character my friend Joe came up with. You might see more of this guy if plans turn out.
This time it's my friend Holly. Thankfully she wasn't smiling with an open mouth in the ref pic I choose because I have been having trouble with drawing open mouth smiles. They are hard to get to look normal.
I felt like doing some more portrait sketches so I found more pics of some friends, in this case Meg and Sarah. I think I'm getting a little better than before. Still a long ways to go though.
I found a picture of my friend Shane holding a spear and it looked like fun to draw and so it was. I had to make up the arm and hand on screen left cause it wasn't in the shot. I was okay with how this turned out until I looked at the ref image again and realized how many mistakes I made. Oh well... guess that's how you learn.
I attempted another painting but wasn't very happy with it so I played around with different textures and looks in Photoshop.
Here's a kind of quick painting I did with acrylics and then touched up a bit in photoshop. This is the first time I have traditionally painted in who knows how long and I was limited with my supplies but it was still a lot of fun. I think I will try to do some more soon. Enjoy!
Been having trouble drawing, so I found a cool photo and sketched away.
Just a random scribble. I can't seem to draw well right now, so this is the best I could pull off. I will keep at it though, so there should be some better stuff in the future.
Here is my 3D demo reel, so far, to accompany my 2D reel while I go on the journey to get a job. There are some more acting scenes I would like to try to animate but I am having some technical problems right now, so I haven't been able to get to it yet.
